With this Sikkim and Darjeeling tour package travel to the two most beautiful hill stations of Gangtok and Darjeeling. Both of these hill stations are mostly popular to offer mesmerizing views of the third highest peak in the world Mount Kanchenjunga. Additionally, Darjeeling is also known to produce one of the best Tea in the world. You will find major Buddhist influence in both of these hill stations which you can closely experience by visiting the Dro Dul Chorten Monastery of Gangtok and Japanese Peace Pagoda of Darjeeling. You can also relish in the local cuisine and try a number of street food delicacies by visiting the bustling local markets.

Get a chance to marvel at the majestic Kanchenjunga range from different angles as you visit multiple viewpoints like - Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok - hilltop temples in Gangtok dedicated to Lord Ganesha and Lord Hanuman respectively. You will also witness one of the most beautiful from the Tiger Hill of Darjeeling over the peaks of Kanchenjunga Range which is beautifully painted by the shades of sunrise. The ropeway ride in Darjeeling is yet another way of witnessing the beauty of the surrounding Himalayas.

Apart from this, you will induge in border tourism by visiting the NathuLa pass which is the last checkpost on the Indo-China border in Sikkim. On the way to NathuLa Pass, you will visit the Tsomgo lake which is a revered site for Sikkimese people as the changing colours of the lake is used to foretell the future by the Buddhist Monks. Another prominent landmark on the way to Nathu La is Baba Mandir. This temple is dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh who was formally a part of Sikh Regiment posted here. According to the local legend, the spirit of Baba Harbhajan Singh protects the Indian Army till today and the Chinese troops have also reported spotting a soldier in turban several times.

As you visit the hill station of Darjeeling, your nose will tickle with the aromatic tea plantations. Here you will relieve some Bollywood movements as you embark on the one of a kind toy train ride in Darjeeling which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. This 2 hour long toy train right will start from Darjeeling, take a 25 minutes hault at Ghum railway station where you will visit the Ghum Railway museum and start your journey back to Darjeeling by taking a 10 minute hault at the famous Batasia Loop. Other sightseeing places of Darjeeling included in this trip package are the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park and the Japanese Peace Pagoda of Darjeeling.

Day 01 :

Arrival at Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station to Gangtok

On arrival at Bagdogra (IXB) Airport/ New Jalpaiguri (NJP), get greeted by our representative.
From here, you will board our vehicle for Gangtok.
En route, you will take a short stopover at the Triveni View Point, which is a confluence of Teesta and Rangeet rivers.
Enjoy your scenic drive to Gangtok through the meandering roads, along the Teesta River.
Visit MG Marg on your own in the evening.
Reach Gangtok, and Check-into your hotel for an overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 02 :

Explore around Gangtok, Tsomgo lake , Babamandir + Nathula pass

Enjoy at the Banjhakri waterfalls which is a wonderful picnic spot. Then head to the Namgyal institute of Tibetology to see the rich cultural heritage of Tibetan architecture and Buddhist culture. The Ropeway is the next attraction that offers great views of the mountains. Next, we well cover the other attraction of Gangtok such as Bakthang Waterfalls, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Tashi View Point, Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooom, Enchey Monastery and Flower show. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 04 :

Gangtok to Darjeeling, Travel to the best tea gardens in the country.

Darjeeling sightseeing day, explore the best places in this hill station:

Starting the day with an amazing experience, you will be starting early in the morning, at around 4 AM. Climb up to the top of the Tiger Hill to catch the sunrise casting golden lights on Kanchenjunga
Following this experience will be the visit to the famous Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery.
Return and enjoy a delicious breakfast before proceeding onwards with more local sightseeing.
You will be covering attractions like the Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Ropeway, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, Tenzing Rock, and Japanese Temple
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06 :

Departure Day, Darjeeling to Bagdogra airport / NJP Railway station

Wakeup to a beautiful morning in Darjeeling and have your breakfast at the hotel.
Later, board your transfer to Bagdogra Airport (IXB)/ New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP).
Your tour concludes once you are dropped off at the airport/ railway station for your onward journey.
